Terms of sale and use

These terms apply to purchases of New Tab ist, sold by [legal name, registered address and company number of the seller] (“we”). Contact: support@newtabist-chrome-extension.com.

1. The product

New Tab ist is a Chrome extension that replaces the New Tab page with your Todoist view, a clock, shortcuts, a focus timer and widgets. It is an independent product, not made, endorsed or supported by Doist, the company behind Todoist. Todoist is a trademark of Doist. Using the Todoist part of the extension requires a Todoist account, free or paid, which is subject to Doist's own terms.

2. Plans and prices

• Monthly: €3.99 per month, renewed automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; access stays active until the end of the paid month.
• Lifetime access: €39.99, paid once, including all future updates of the extension.

Prices include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed by Stripe.

3. Delivery

Right after payment, you receive by email a license code, a download link for the extension (valid 7 days) and an installation guide. The same information is shown on the confirmation page.

4. License

Your license is personal. One code can be activated on up to 3 Chrome browsers. You may not resell or share your code. If you need to move your license to new browsers beyond that limit, contact support and we will reset your activations. We may deactivate a code that is refunded, whose subscription has ended, or that is clearly being shared.

5. Refunds and right of withdrawal

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied, write to us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. The refunded license is then deactivated. This guarantee covers and extends the 14-day right of withdrawal that EU and UK consumers have by law. Monthly renewals are not refunded, but you can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal.

6. Hosting

The website and license server are hosted by Hostinger in the United Kingdom. Payments are processed by Stripe and emails are sent by Brevo.

7. Availability and changes

We do our best to keep the extension working, but it depends on Chrome and on the Todoist web app, which we don't control. If a change on their side breaks a feature, we will try to fix it quickly but cannot guarantee a timeframe. We may update the extension to improve it or keep it working.

8. Liability

The extension is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. Before any legal action, please contact us so we can find a solution together.
