New Tab ist is a small, independent Chrome extension for people who run their work and life in Todoist. It starts from a simple observation: Todoist is often one tab too far away. Now every new tab opens on the list, next to a clock, a focus timer and a few quiet widgets.
Why it exists
A task manager only helps if you look at it. A pinned Todoist tab gets lost among thirty others; a toolbar button is easy to forget to click. The new tab page is the one place most people look at dozens of times a day, and by default it shows things they do not need. New Tab ist puts Todoist there.
What we believe
- Your Todoist, not a copy. The extension shows the real Todoist web app. No sync layer, no second list to keep up to date.
- Private by default. You sign in on todoist.com. The extension never sees your password or your tasks, and has no ads, analytics or tracking. Read the privacy policy.
- Calm over clever. A plain, readable tab that gets you back to work, with widgets you choose rather than a feed.
- A fair price. A small monthly price, or a single payment for lifetime access with every future update.
